Thursley Recreation Ground was given to Thursley by Dame Helene Adeline Blanche Windham on 1st June, 1939.


Thursley Women's Institute
The Thursley Women’s Institute (WI) was founded in 1915 and by the mid-twentieth century a well-established and active organisation within the village. By 1965, the Institute had reached its Jubilee year, marking fifty years of continuous activity.

Truxford Cottage

Thursley Village Calendars
Three village calendars were produced in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and were sponsored by The Guildford Flames and The Three Horseshoes. Louis Keene 1888 - 1972
The artist, Louis Keene, was born in England Keene spent his youth in South Africa and most of his life in Canada but studied art in London, Paris and Munich. He was stationed in Tweedsmuir Camp during World War II.
